About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Registered Nurse to join our team at Texas Oncology. As a key member of our oncology team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality, high-touch cancer care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care for patients with cancer, adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.
  • Assess health status, collect and record nursing assessments and interventions, and provide teaching and other instructional material to patients and families.
  • Facilitate clinical operations and patient care, assist physicians with exams and procedures, and maintain efficient and appropriate patient flow in and out of exam rooms.
  • Triage patient phone calls, document relevant information in patient charts, and facilitate communication between patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Assist patients in locating available community resources and provide support and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
  • RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 0-3 years nursing experience, preferably at least one year in oncology/infusion.
