At Texas Oncology, we are committed to providing high-quality, individualized care for each patient we serve. As a PRN Senior Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse, you will be part of a collaborative team that works together to deliver exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing, with a minimum of five years of RN experience and one year of oncology experience. Oncology certification is preferred. You will be responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients, adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient/family needs and providing teaching and other instructional material
  • Preparing and administering therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician
  • Administering all medications/blood products using correct medication/blood product, dosage/amount, route, time and technique
  • Facilitating dose modification by assessing patient, assessing labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose, and consulting physician regarding dosage modifications, problems and symptom management
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided
