Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a MECK Pre-K Registration and Intake Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the enrollment and placement process for MECK Pre-K students, ensuring that program services meet the MECK Pre-K policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support the enrollment and placement process for MECK Pre-K students, ensuring that program services meet the MECK Pre-K policies.
  • Work with families, childcare center administrators, and community outreach coordinators to gather required documentation and determine eligibility for MECK Pre-K services.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance reports and data analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with families, sites, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of MECK Pre-K services.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in early education and child development.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; 2-4 year degree preferred.
  • Three years of successful experience in a professional setting providing administrative support services to agencies serving young children and families.
  • Additional two years of increasingly responsible and progressive administrative leadership experience in programs serving children and/or families is desired.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time exempt position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

This position is based in Charlotte, NC with a minor amount of travel. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
