Key Responsibilities- Patrol and Monitor Aquatic Areas: Conduct regular patrols of the pool and surrounding areas to detect potential hazards and ensure a safe environment for patrons.
- Provide Emergency Medical Care: Administer first aid and CPR as needed, and contact emergency medical personnel in the event of a serious injury.
- Maintain Pool Water Quality: Test and maintain the chemical levels of the pool water to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Enforce Safety Rules: Warn patrons of inclement weather, unsafe areas, or illegal conduct, and provide assistance in the safe use of equipment.
- Participate in Training and Development: Participate in regular training and development sessions to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Education: Must be at least 16 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications: Must hold and maintain current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
