Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinician to join our team at Mecklenburg County. As a key member of our staff, you will provide clinical services to domestic violence offenders, working closely with clients to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to address their unique needs and challenges.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the most effective course of treatment for each client.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with clients to set and achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication with clients.
  • Document all client interactions and treatment plans, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • NC Professional Licensure in one of the following areas: LCSW, LPA, or LCMHC.
  • Valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver's License and County Driving Privileges.
  • Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred, but not required.
  • Professional knowledge of or previous work experience with domestic violence populations, programs, and services.
