Job Overview

Position: Financial Services Associate

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Location: Chicago Loop

Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to the Treasurer of the organization and plays a crucial part in efficiently addressing client inquiries.

About You
  • Preferred educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks or Trust Accounting Software is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act as a liaison across various departments.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming calls from clients and internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Complete all compliance training related to the role as mandated by the organization.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of applicable regulations post-training.
  • Perform various physical tasks such as operating office equipment and managing documents.
Role Functions
  • Process and validate incoming ACH, checks, and wire transfers.
  • Investigate unidentifiable transactions using available resources.
  • Manage outgoing check requests for client accounts.
  • Oversee daily and monthly billing processes for accounts.
  • Facilitate account terminations as required.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
  • Maintain an organized email inbox and resolve client issues professionally.
  • Document important notes in client account files.
  • Address client inquiries with a high level of professionalism.
  • Utilize resources effectively to resolve issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet objectives efficiently.
  • Commit to enhancing the client experience and providing operational support.
  • Engage in special projects and tasks as assigned.
