Job Summary

The Henry Morrison Flagler Museum is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative support in the areas of accounts payable and human resources functions. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and maintain accounts payable records, including verifying invoices, coding expenses, and preparing payments for approval.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with staff regarding payment inquiries and issues.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives as needed, i.e. personnel record maintenance, and benefits administration.
  • General Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks, mailings, post office, scanning, and filing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable, human resources, or administrative support roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
