Meat Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat Department Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and guidance to our team members, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at the right time.
- Financial Management: Monitor and manage department finances, ensuring that we are meeting our sales and profit targets.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our department is compliant with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Experience: 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Certifications: Food safety certification and Certified Meat Journeyman or equivalent training.
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time. The ideal candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
