Job Overview

MEI Group is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Manager to lead our fast-paced service department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading the day-to-day operations of our service department, ensuring efficient and effective workflow, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise and manage a team of service department employees, including shop foremen, intake coordinators, technicians, and administrative assistants.
  • Manage daily communication with internal and external customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, CSI, and overall service department performance.
  • Collaborate with other operational departments to improve customer service levels company-wide.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Lead and manage the effective use of production software to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of management experience in a high-volume service facility.
  • 3-5 years of direct team management experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate an automobile.
