Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated HR professional to support our operations. This role is crucial in providing HR assistance to store leadership through coaching and guidance on various HR-related issues such as staffing, workforce planning, training, retention, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection processes for both leadership and non-leadership positions while managing the applicant tracking system.
  • Oversee effective orientation, onboarding, and training programs to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Promote engagement through key HR initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all team members and engage leadership in these efforts.
  • Support the reporting, analysis, and execution of talent management and development processes.
  • Guide store leadership on career development resources and track progress on individual development plans.
  • Provide consultation and recommendations regarding employee relations, dispute resolution, and corrective actions.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of employee complaints or policy violations.
  • Support business partners with company policies related to employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent management.
  • Assist HR Market Managers with various projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or higher in Human Resources preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership presence and approachability.
  • Proactive and capable of working independently.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels.
  • High energy and adaptability.
  • Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Emotional resilience and courage to handle challenging situations.
  • Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust.
