Nuclear Medicine Technology Adjunct Faculty Position

Ferris State University is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in our Nuclear Medicine Technology program. The successful candidate will provide face-to-face and online instruction, evaluate student clinical progress, and ensure clinical education effectiveness through regular visits to clinical practice settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach and instruct students in a patient setting
  • Evaluate student performance and advise faculty on laboratory/clinic progress
  • Administer and evaluate process evaluations and examinations
  • Participate in traditional academic functions, including reporting student participation data and submitting final grades
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a health-related field, or master's degree in a health-related field or degree in progress
  • Three years of clinical experience in direct patient care
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five or more years of clinical experience in direct patient care
  • Previous teaching experience
