Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Auditing: Conducts regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy in inventory records and addresses discrepancies as needed.
  • ERP System Management: Utilizes ERP systems to make inventory adjustments, review stock levels, and investigate transaction histories.
  • Warehouse Operations: Ensures effective warehouse practices are followed, including safe handling of materials and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Forklift Operation: Operates forklifts safely and efficiently to facilitate the movement of goods within the warehouse.

Essential Duties

  1. Facility Maintenance: Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in all operational areas, adhering to established procedures and documenting any issues or resource needs.
  2. Logistics Coordination: Manages the packaging and shipping of products, ensuring compliance with inventory control standards and customer requirements.
  3. Manufacturing Support: Assists in executing work orders and ensures adherence to standard operating procedures during the manufacturing process.
  4. Quality Inspections: Collaborates with the Quality Assurance team to perform inspections at various stages, documenting findings as required.
  5. Environmental Compliance: Conducts environmental monitoring as per established guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in inventory management is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret detailed instructions and effectively communicate with team members.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic and the ability to perform calculations related to inventory management.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn new software for data management.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform various physical tasks as needed.

Work Environment

This position involves working in environments with exposure to moving machinery and varying noise levels. Personal protective equipment may be required to ensure safety during operations.
