Responsibilities
  • Conduct newborn hearing screens in a hospital setting, utilizing our state-of-the-art equipment and protocols.
  • Verify insurance information and ensure accurate documentation of hearing screen results.
  • Enter patient data and validate hearing screens, ensuring timely submission of billing and adherence to hospital and company policies.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to educate them on the importance of hearing screens and provide support as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain expertise in newborn hearing screening and related protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hospital setting or with infants preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with parents, guardians, and healthcare professionals.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and assignments, with flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
