About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled General Manager to lead our apartment communities and drive financial performance, resident satisfaction, and team success.

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overall property operations, including financial management, resident engagement, and team leadership.

You will actively monitor daily activities, analyze market dynamics, and oversee direct sales, leasing administration, and maintenance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team
  • Lead community staff with regular meetings, performance monitoring, and career development guidance
  • Analyze property operations, implement policies for seamless integration, and ensure operational excellence
  • Forecast the community budget, make recommendations for income maximization and expense minimization
  • Support marketing, pricing efforts, and monitor sales performance for goal achievement
  • Stay informed on community market conditions for strategic decision-making
  • Build connections with residents through community events and activities

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail management
  • Customer service and sales experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License required if employee will operate a motorized vehicle (e.g., car, golf cart) in their role. This varies by location.
  • Computer literacy and effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
  • Office team employees, with limited exceptions, are required to use their own Smartphone to perform certain aspects of their job

  • Management of complex communities or multi-site experience
