Property Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager to join our team at Realty Operations Group. As a key member of our Property Operations Team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our residential properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and that our residents receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the successful operation and maintenance of our properties, including three residential buildings and 900 units.
  • Supervise and train building staff to ensure efficient property operations and high standards of service.
  • Deliver best-in-class customer service through prompt and effective response to resident inquiries and repair requests.
  • Manage and coordinate the vacant apartment turnover process, working closely with vendors and building staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive operational excellence and improve resident satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on property performance, financial status, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
  • Manage property budgets, including forecasting and financial planning for your portfolio.
  • Monitor and control operating expenses to ensure budget adherence and financial optimization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of property management experience with luxury residential buildings.
  • Experience in multifamily rental housing.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
  • Must be available for after-hours emergencies.
Skills:
  • Strong literacy in MS Word and Excel, Yardi is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting, labor relations, purchasing, and building mechanical systems.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a corporate environment.
