Job Summary

DPR Construction is seeking a highly experienced Carpenter Foreman to oversee and manage carpentry-related work on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general construction carpentry, preferably in our core markets, and a proven track record of leading teams and ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise carpentry teams, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards
  • Coordinate jobsite logistics, including material storage and maintenance
  • Lead DPR's Injury Free Environment (IFE) Safety Program and monitor production and quality of crews
  • Read and understand blueprint drawings, perform layout, and calculate mathematical figures as needed
  • Procure and track materials to be installed, coordinate work scopes, and assist in creating resource-loaded schedules
  • Process Timesheets, conduct employee coaching and evaluations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of tools and equipment
Requirements
  • 10+ years of construction experience, with 3-5 years as a leadman/foreman
  • Current Union Member preferred
  • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 Certified
  • Knowledge of Construction Software, such as Plan-grid, Hammertech, and Rhumbix
  • Ability to use an iPad and lift/push/pull up to 100lbs
Working Conditions

Work occurs primarily in on-site environments, with occasional exposure to heights, hot or cold weather, loud noises, dust, and fumes. All PPE must be worn at all times.
