Heavy Equipment Training Specialist

We are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Diesel Technician Trainees. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in heavy equipment repair and maintenance, working with some of the best Caterpillar technicians in the industry.
The Diesel Technician Trainee program consists of 2,400 hours of intensive training across a 15-month period, including 2,000 hours of hands-on, on-the-job training, 200 hours of classroom learning, and 200 hours of online, computer-based training.
As a Diesel Technician Trainee, you will participate in on-site orientations and training classes, rotating through various technical areas within our facilities. Upon successful completion of the program, you may be offered a full-time technician position at any Milton CAT or Milton Rents location.
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required for this position, with 1+ years of experience servicing heavy equipment or equivalent education in automotive/diesel/related mechanical vocational program strongly preferred. Strong adherence to safety, customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
This is a paid training program with a salary of approximately $43,500 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek.
