Become a Caterpillar Service Development Engineer

Milton CAT is seeking talented and ambitious individuals to join our Diesel Technician Trainee program. This 15-month intensive training program offers hands-on experience, classroom learning, and online training in a variety of technical areas within our facilities.

As a Diesel Technician Trainee, you will work closely with experienced Caterpillar technicians and participate in on-site orientations and training classes. Upon successful completion of the program, you may be offered a full-time technician position at any Milton CAT or Milton Rents location.

To be eligible for this program, candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, and 1+ years of experience servicing heavy equipment or equivalent education in automotive/diesel/related mechanical vocational program strongly preferred. Strong adherence to safety, customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

This is a paid training program with a salary of approximately $43,500 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek.
