Job Summary

Exceptional Living Centers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repairs, as well as a thorough understanding of Life Safety code regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and assets to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with Life Safety code regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage a team of maintenance professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance.
  • Ensure that all maintenance records are accurate and up-to-date to facilitate effective decision-making and compliance.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Director or similar role in a healthcare or senior living setting.
  • Thorough understanding of Life Safety code regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to effectively manage a team of maintenance professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely maintenance records.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to ensure efficient operations and effective maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to facilitate travel to various facilities.
