Healthcare Facilities Operations Supervisor

Overview: Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Supervisor to oversee our client account within the healthcare sector. This role is pivotal in managing the operational integrity of multiple healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and enhancing the overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage maintenance personnel, ensuring optimal performance and accountability for their assigned tasks.
- Oversee all maintenance service requests, guaranteeing that work is executed effectively and with minimal disruption.
- Diagnose issues with malfunctioning equipment and implement necessary corrective measures to restore functionality.
- Administer departmental staffing, including recruitment, scheduling, performance evaluations, and personnel actions.
- Collaborate with clients to coordinate maintenance schedules, ensuring that preventative measures are executed timely.
- Monitor the performance of critical electrical and mechanical systems that support facility operations.
- Analyze site infrastructure systems to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide training and mentorship to enhance the skills of operations staff, focusing on maintenance, safety, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including Joint Commission requirements, and prepare for audits.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee the Environment of Care and Emergency Management protocols.
- Manage financial aspects, including budgeting and forecasting for maintenance operations.
- Implement energy management initiatives aimed at reducing consumption across facilities.
- Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with established policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent technical training.
- A minimum of five years' experience in facility management within a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in CMMS and Building Automation Systems.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with a focus on budget management.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
