Assistant Director, Analytics and Player Personnel, Women's Soccer

Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Analytics and Player Personnel, Women's Soccer is a key member of the women's soccer team's staff, responsible for overseeing analytics and player personnel operations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct data collection and analysis for game scouting, including preparation of opponent scouts, opponent preps, and associated opponent preparation.
- Provide data-oriented solutions to stakeholders, leveraging large data sets to enable statistical analyses and source, process, and understand new data sets to aid in evaluation or prediction of teams or players.
- Oversee individualized player analytics and statistical analysis, producing reports for each player using video, analytics, and stats, and tracking progress.
- Direct analytic collection and analysis for all areas of recruiting, maintaining the recruit database and overseeing the recruit response system.
- Lead the research, analysis, and maintenance of all subscription services, overseeing third-party services in recruiting, opponent scouting, and self-scouting, and managing the budget and department communication.
- Oversee the student manager program, identifying potential candidates, communicating with academic services and compliance, and developing and maintaining graduate student and student manager scheduling and task assignments.
- Assist the Director of Operations in overseeing and managing internal needs and services, planning weekly and monthly Student-Athlete schedules, and assisting with on-campus recruiting activities.
- Advanced knowledge in the game of basketball, experience in scouting and evaluating prospects, and a background in intercollegiate athletics.
- Strong soccer analytic skills, strong oral and written communication skills, report writing and presentation skills, and proficiency in soccer-specific technology.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to use sound judgment, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to prioritize own work and multitask.
- Candidate should be well-versed in all relevant new technologies, innovations, and applications.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years of working experience in soccer is preferred.
The work environment is typical of an office setting, with frequent interruptions and noisy arenas during games and practices.
