Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Order diagnostic testing and perform procedures within your scope of practice
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
About Our Team

Our Emergency Department is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to teamwork. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, from children to adults, and develop your skills in emergency medicine.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA academic program
  • National specialty certification as FNP, PNP, Acute or Primary Care A-GNP, WHNP or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRN only)
  • Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
  • BLS certification
