Yale New Haven Health, a leading healthcare system in Connecticut, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join its established Hospitalist Service at Yale New Haven Hospital. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and skilled APRN or Physician Assistant with a passion for critical care.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care as an integral part of the medical team in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Collaborate with Yale Medicine Pulmonary and Critical Care faculty, Intensivists, fellows, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Participate in formal presentations, formulate and implement management plans for critically ill patients, and perform admissions, ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests
- Conduct daily progress notes, perform procedures, and provide education and training to APP students and orientees
- APRN or PA licensure
- Previous inpatient or critical care experience preferred, but not required (extensive orientation period offered)
