Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health.
About the RoleAs a key member of our emergency department team, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic evaluation and management of acute medical complaints for children and adults. Your primary responsibilities will include ordering diagnostic testing, performing procedures within your scope of practice, prescribing medications, and ensuring an appropriate disposition plan.
Key Responsibilities- Order diagnostic testing and perform procedures within your scope of practice
- Prescribe medications and ensure an appropriate disposition plan
- Work collaboratively with the emergency department team to provide high-quality patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a graduate of an accredited APRN or PA academic program and hold national specialty certification as a FNP, PNP, Acute or Primary Care A-GNP, WHNP, or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). You will also need to be eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRN only), eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH, and eligible for Federal DEA Registration.
