Principal Scientist, Discovery Biology

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct impactful research and experiments to advance our discovery biology platform
- Influence the direction of scientific function and guide our research strategy
- Design innovative screening assays to promote collaboration across scientific disciplines
- Apply advanced scientific analytical expertise to solve complex issues
- Stay scientifically current and contribute to the implementation of new technologies and advanced screening strategies
- Interface with the computational team to formulate strategy for target and hit identification
- Determine the feasibility of applying advanced scientific principles and techniques to scientific programs
- Provide strategic leadership to target selection and validation
- PhD in Immunology or a related discipline with a minimum of 12+ years relevant experience in industry
- Prior experience in development of standard assays such as ELISA, cell-based reporter and pharmacological assays for biologic drugs
- Extensive experience in designing robust screening strategies
- Evidence of creativity in establishing assays across a variety of biologic mechanisms
- Proven success in project management and team leadership
