Crossbow Therapeutics, Inc. is a biotechnology company dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer by unlocking the therapeutic potential of T-cell receptor (TCR)-mimetic antibodies. Our approach is designed to target the entire universe of cancer proteins, dramatically expanding the potential of antibody therapy to address many types of cancer.
We are seeking a Senior/Principal Scientist, Biology to join our Biology team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in tumor Immunology and a deep understanding of how cytotoxic T cells recognize and eliminate target cells. Familiarity with TCR/HLA biology is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience with techniques related to T cell immunology and tumor immunotherapy, such as T cell dependent cellular cytotoxicity assays, cytokine analysis, and flow cytometry (including FlowJo data analysis). They will also be able to thrive in a highly collaborative fast-moving small biotech environment.
The Senior/Principal Scientist, Biology will be responsible for leading one or more programs from discovery through DC nomination. They will independently work to generate, critically analyze and interpret data with scientific rigor and an open mind. They will also lead the design and execution of immune cell-based experiments and perform multiparameter flow cytometry-based experiments.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with scientists and research associates within and across teams to accomplish program goals. They will thoroughly document experiments and communicate results with scientific team members and stakeholders. They will also present program strategy and progress to research leadership team and at external scientific meetings.
Preferred qualifications and past experience include a Ph.D. in Immunology, Cancer Biology or related field, with more than 3+ years of experience in either an academic or industrial setting. B.S./M.S. with more than 8+ years of experience in Immunology, preferably in Immuno-oncology, is also preferred.
