Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree.
Experience: Minimum of two years in a clinical nursing position is required.
Licensure and Certification: Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, with additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) required based on unit specifics. In specialized areas such as Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, de-escalation training is necessary within the initial months of employment.
Other Qualifications: Candidates should exhibit strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
