Position Overview:
As the Branch Operations Leader at United Rentals, you will leverage your managerial skills to coordinate and supervise the provision of outstanding service to boost branch productivity. Working in close partnership with the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include ensuring safety, delivering superior customer service, and maintaining compliance with established procedures for seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Branch Manager in implementing strategies to achieve financial objectives
  • Helping to uphold adherence to company regulations
  • Overseeing sales initiatives and business operations
  • Managing the performance of direct reports including Inside Sales Representatives, Drivers, and other relevant staff
  • Inspiring, coaching, and developing team members
  • Promoting a culture of safety and accountability through effective leadership and communication
  • Carrying out additional tasks as necessary

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma; a Bachelor's degree is advantageous
  • 3+ years of experience in sales and operational roles
  • Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment sector or a related field
  • Strong leadership and motivational capabilities
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
