Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Level II

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist Level II to join our team in Palos Heights, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for positioning patients, selecting technical factors, and operating equipment to obtain high-quality scans. Additionally, they will assist physicians with recommendations for optimal studies and maintain accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients and select technical factors to obtain high-quality scans
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Assist physicians with recommendations for optimal studies
  • Maintain accurate patient records and histories
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements:
  • ARDMS Registry with 2-3 years of experience in ultrasound in a hospital setting
  • Ability to make diagnostic judgments and present findings to radiologists
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts, including nights and weekends. They will also be exposed to radiation and will be required to follow safety protocols to ensure patient and staff well-being.
