Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for positioning patients, selecting technical factors, and operating equipment to obtain high-quality scans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select technical factors to obtain optimal quality scans
  • Operate portable ultrasound equipment as needed to perform procedures
  • Assist physicians with recommendations for obtaining optimal studies
  • Secure patient history to provide radiologists with adequate information
  • Maintain positive guest relations and communicate effectively with patients and staff
Requirements
  • ARDMS Registry with 2-3 years of experience in ultrasound in a hospital setting
  • High degree of technical knowledge to perform specialized U/S studies
  • Able to make diagnostic judgments and present them to radiologists
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and use patient handling equipment when necessary
