HVAC and Plumbing Estimator/Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC and Plumbing Estimator/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our operations, overseeing all aspects of HVAC and plumbing projects from initial estimation through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct accurate and competitive estimates for HVAC and plumbing projects in residential and light commercial new builds.
  • Lead the design/build process for HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project deadlines.
  • Provide expert guidance and troubleshoot issues throughout the construction phase.
  • Oversee ordering and scheduling to ensure timely project progression.
  • Act as a sales support representative, engaging with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to negotiate new work and participate in design meetings.
  • Review contracts, manage billing processes, and prepare close-out documentation for completed projects.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensuring project milestones and quality standards are achieved.
  • Assist the President with daily operations, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and suggest cost-effective solutions to enhance project efficiency.
  • Manage the engineering plan review, submittal processes, and oversee projects from rough-in to final completion.
  • Create detailed estimates and proposals for HVAC replacements and installations in residential and multi-family homes.
  • Support and evaluate install crews, providing feedback to promote continuous improvement.

Requirements:

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in HVAC and plumbing systems, complemented by exceptional project management skills and a customer-centric approach.
