Key Responsibilities

  • Transport vehicles to and from designated service areas as required.
  • Apply protective coverings (such as seat covers and floor mats) and tags on all vehicles entering for service.
  • Refuel and service vehicles with necessary fluids.
  • Clean and wash vehicles to maintain their appearance.
  • Assist in keeping the lot tidy by clearing driveways and sidewalks, including snow and debris removal when necessary.
  • Contribute to the cleanliness of the shop, ensuring windows, doors, and floors are well-maintained.
  • Facilitate dealer trades as needed.
  • Provide transportation for customers to and from their residences upon request.
  • Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed and adheres to industry regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Capable of maneuvering vehicles in confined spaces safely.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and reliability.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities, particularly under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency.
  • Previous experience in a related position is advantageous.
  • Customer service orientation is essential.
  • Team player with a commitment to colleagues and customers alike.
  • Self-motivated with effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Foster teamwork across all departments.
  • Energetic and friendly demeanor with a willingness to exceed expectations.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work is necessary.
