Certified Medical Assistant- Back Office Float Job DescriptionAbout the Role:

The Center for Primary Care seeks a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant- Back Office Float to provide exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist providers with exams and procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
  3. Administer medication and injections per provider orders, accurately documenting necessary information in Electronic Medical Records.
  4. Operate office equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
  5. Prepare patients and exam rooms for exams, procedures, and other medical activities.
  6. Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office.
  7. Document and report lab results on appropriate forms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior Medical Assistant experience preferred.
  • Prior experience using computer software, preferably electronic medical records.
  • Prior laboratory experience preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and Laboratory Information System.
  • Ability to type, demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, identify emergent medical situations, and provide positive customer service skills.
Benefits:

The Center for Primary Care offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. This position also comes with opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive team environment.
