Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Medical Assistant to join our team at the Center for Primary Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

About the Role:

  • Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and administrative tasks to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and laboratory results.
  • Perform various clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and preparing patients for exams.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to patient inquiries, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive patient experience.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other support staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a primary care setting, preferably in a medical assistant role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a well-lit, clean, and organized office environment.
  • Regularly lift 10 pounds or less, stand for extended periods, and walk short distances.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
