We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Piedmont Medical Care Corporation. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in our Colon & Rectal department.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to medical staff, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with clinical procedures, such as preparing patients for exams and taking vital signs.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Achieve certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or similarly recognized certifying organization.
- Hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program, such as CAAHEP or ABHES.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
