Job Summary

Cedent Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for coordinating the migration of business systems, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the scope and nature of pilot projects, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and pilot users.
  • Collaborate with the UX team to create clear and concise end-user communications, ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Work closely with IT teams at various locations to define their schedules and scope of migration, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Determine the limits and capacity for nightly migration, taking into account network limitations and support requirements.
  • Communicate with internal teams to establish general scope parameters for batch creation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and resolve exceptions and issues raised by stakeholders, coordinating with local IT teams for remediation.
  • Participate in Quarterly IT Shop Win11 Meetings and Monthly Q&A Sessions, staying up-to-date on the latest IT developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • A self-starter with the ability to initiate plans and actions without waiting for direction from other teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to quickly and clearly convey complex information to stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess and balance multiple priorities when creating migration schedules, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Basic understanding of standard infrastructure processes, with a focus on business and technical requirements.
Deliverables
  • Detailed documentation of business, functional, and technical requirements, including use cases and test cases.
  • Detailed design decision documentation, including who made, approved, and agreed on decisions.
  • Landscape documentation of current mode of operation (As-is).
  • Test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Detailed documentation of work instructions, configuration guides, and operation/administrative guides.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Technical/Analytical: ability to decompose business requirements into functional and technical requirements, use activity, sequence, and/or data flow diagrams to identify performance requirements, and experience writing use cases.
  • High level of skill with MS Office tools, including Visio and Excel.
