Job Description

Genesis10 is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant to join our team in the financial industry. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Case Development: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
  • Test Planning: Lead test planning, usually at a team level, to ensure stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria.
  • Test Framework Implementation: Implement the test framework for the team, including identifying automation opportunities and developing test automation for applicable test types.
  • Test Data Management: Help condition and generate test data, ensuring data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments.
  • Test Execution: Execute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results.
  • Issue Reporting: Report issues and defects along with the appropriate background information for review.
  • Triage and Resolution: Participate in triaging reported issues/defects and assist with resolving or escalating them as necessary.
  • Traceability: Create and manage traceability, tracing tests forwards/backwards through the development lifecycle and back to requirements.
  • Testing Tools and Processes: Use testing tools and follow processes to complete testing on a given test environment, and assist with fulfillment of necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environments.
  • Test Suite Maintenance: Maintain and catalog test suites across test types (Smoke, Integration, Regression, etc.).
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Experience with Quality Center/AML, Octane.
  • Experience with WEB and API Testing, Banking SME, Selenium/Cucumber, Testing Process and Tools [ALM and JIRA].
Desired Skills:
  • Hands-on experience using Cucumber and BDD processes creating Feature Files and Step Definitions.
  • CORE JAVA development skills.
  • Command over SQL.
