Overview
The Community Engagement Representative plays a vital role in ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This position is essential for maintaining the property and amenity areas in alignment with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a friendly atmosphere for all residents and visitors.
  • Welcome individuals as they enter and exit, addressing inquiries and assisting with package retrieval as needed.
  • Monitor security systems for any unusual activity and promptly report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct hourly inspections of common areas to ensure cleanliness, functionality of lighting, and security of entrances.
  • Maintain communication with management and security personnel during shifts.
  • Assist residents with lockout situations following established procedures.
  • Document daily activities and observations during shifts.
  • Promote and support community events and initiatives.
  • Perform administrative tasks as directed by management.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in customer service is essential.
  • Availability to work a minimum of two shifts weekly.
  • Ability to perform essential duties with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Competence in interpreting business policies and procedures.
  • Capability to generate reports and correspondence.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
  • Willingness to serve as a role model for residents.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using email, internet, and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak times.
  • Availability to work during designated breaks and holidays.
  • Willingness to work evening shifts.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Primarily indoor work with limited exposure to outdoor elements.
  • Ability to walk long distances periodically throughout the shift.
  • Capability to climb stairs.
  • Occasional ability to push, pull, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Capacity to use close and distant vision.
  • Ability to focus on monitor screens for extended durations.
  • Occasional ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
