Position Summary:
The Evening Customer Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively communicating with clients regarding their vehicle service needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers via phone and in-person to collect pertinent vehicle information and repair details.
- Accurately document customer vehicle issues and verify client information.
- Facilitate the payment process by obtaining necessary approvals and signatures.
- Inform the Assistant Service Manager about incoming work and the status of repair orders.
- Provide customers with detailed estimates for required repair services.
- Monitor the progress of repairs throughout the day and communicate any changes in estimates or timelines to customers.
- Ensure all repair orders are reviewed for accuracy and completeness before closing.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:
- Prior experience in truck service, preferred.
- Familiarity with Procede or other Heavy-Duty Truck DMS.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service abilities and a professional demeanor.
- An associate degree, technical school degree, or at least one year of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in computer applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Repair Order Processing.
