Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

About the Job:

Koniag Government Services (KGS) is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide technical and functional support for the GB4 Program, troubleshooting and documenting hardware and software issues using best practices. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to coordinate client requests, track customer issues in the customer ticketing system, and conduct root-cause analysis of issues.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical and functional support for the GB4 Program
- Troubleshoot and document HW and SW issues using best practices
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to coordinate client requests
- Tracks customer issues in the customer ticketing system
- Conducts root-cause analysis of issues

Requirements:

- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Holds a successfully completed in-scope NACI, NACLC, T1, or higher background investigation or is eligible for an interim public trust while undergoing a new NACI, NACLC, T1, or higher background investigation
- Associates degree or relevant work experience
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing system
- Ability to multitask
- 2 years of experience working on IT Network environment

Preferred Skills:

- Working knowledge of AF logistics systems and AF cataloging systems
- Agile trained and/or certifications

Working Environment & Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
