Job Summary

The Premier Physician Network is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist providers with patient care, including order entry, reporting, phone calls, and clerical tasks.
  • Perform procedures such as venipuncture, injections, pulmonary function tests, and other medical tasks as directed by the provider.
  • Assist with surgical and medical procedures, including minor wound repair and foreign body removals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • Medical Assistant applicants must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program and/or obtained certification through a recognized certifying organization.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse applicants must have completed a practical nursing and pharmacology program and maintain current state licensure with CNE requirements.
  • Prior experience in ambulatory healthcare facilities is preferred.
  • Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
  • Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.
  • CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
  • Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.
