Job Description

As a Leasing Manager at FPI Management, you will be responsible for managing and directing the daily activities of the leasing operations department. This includes reviewing and processing lease transactions and agreements, overseeing the completion of all necessary paperwork, and ensuring proper customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily overall operations of the apartment community to ensure FPI is meeting the Client objective and expectations.
  • Communication: Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI.
  • Employee Management: Responsible for training and onboarding of new leasing team members, provide support, training, and guidance as needed to all leasing team members.
  • Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels as established by owner/budget expectations, exhibit professional leasing techniques, and assist with the completion of the monthly Market Surveys and analysis.
  • Revenue Management: Assists the Community Director with maximizing revenue potential of the property through the management of lease expirations and timely turnover.
  • Reporting and Document Management: Maintain appropriate resident files, responsible for the daily integrity and confidentiality of resident files, and ensure that documents and reporting systems are maintained, updated, and organized.
  • Risk Management Items: Ensure compliance of Risk Management items through the following of the FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with reporting of maintenance needs, document facility and maintenance needs, and ensure timely completion.
  • Other: Consistently and fairly enforce community rules and regulations, comply with all Fair Housing Laws, and promote a professional image by adhering to FPI Management's Dress Code Policy.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required. College degree in a relatable field preferred, but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet, social media).
