We're seeking a highly experienced Operations Supervisor to join our elite Waste Connections Operations team. As an Operations Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading a team of employees and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our solid waste collection equipment. About the Role

We're looking for a results-driven individual with prior experience in transportation/trucking/logistics to take charge of our daily operations. As an Operations Supervisor, you'll be responsible for making strategic decisions on staffing changes, developing and executing safety goals, and conducting field inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise work crews operating solid waste collection equipment and assign tasks as needed
  • Oversee the implementation of safety goals and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance
  • Review customer complaints regarding collection programs and perform performance management discussions
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree (strongly preferred)
  • Prior experience in transportation/trucking/logistics
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A Class B CDL (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $85,000-$90,000 annually, and a bonus opportunity of 0-10%.
