Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Providence Medical Group in Portland, OR. This is a full-time position that requires excellent leadership and clinical skills.

About the Role

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and managing the clinical support staff and workflows within the clinic. This role functions as an integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing a professional nursing perspective to the group and upholding standards of nursing practice.

The supervisor oversees the care provided by clinical support staff and initiates efforts to improve quality and skill levels. They lead clinical staff to ensure efficient, safe, and timely patient care services, sensitive to patients' physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor ensures compliance with established clinic policies and procedures. They work collaboratively with other departments to promote a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care.

About the Team

Providence Clinical Network (PCN) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country, with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics, and 30,000 caregivers.

Salary Range

$47.98 - $75.94 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing;
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire;
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire;
  • 3 years of direct patient care experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting;
  • 1 year in a supervisory position, preferably in an ambulatory setting;
  • Clinical experience in triage principles of patient assessment;
  • Experience in delegation of nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel, preferably within the ambulatory setting.
