Government Sales Executive

The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Government Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the government sector. You will work closely with our sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships with government officials, and close new business deals that meet our ARR targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to grow share of market in assigned territory
- Prospect to add new viable accounts and foster trusted relationships with prospective government employees
- Coordinate complex sales and deliver client proposals, RFP responses, and demos
- Maintain opportunity pipeline at 5x ARR quota and maintain sound ECRM hygiene
- Deliver accurate quarterly forecasts and meet or exceed sales quotas
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience selling in the government space
- Ability to work remotely and travel up to 50% - 70%
- Quota and goal focus with urgency, tenacity, and perseverance
- High level of accountability, strong work ethic, and results-oriented
- Articulate and effective communicator with a proven track record of identifying and closing new business
