Oversee the daily functions of the facilities department, focusing on the maintenance, installation, and repair of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Provide outstanding service to both internal and external guests, always maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor. Actively seek opportunities to assist guests and team members.
Develop effective work schedules while managing labor costs and meeting staffing goals.
Plan and execute projects and preventative maintenance tasks.
Monitor and manage inventory for necessary parts and materials, reordering as required.
Conduct daily property inspections to ensure cleanliness, attractiveness, and functionality, addressing any issues immediately.
Implement a tailored training program for each role, including Department Leads, to maximize the potential of all team members.
Maintain regular communication with vendors in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and landscaping to coordinate emergency repairs and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Lead all aspects of team member relations, including hiring, coaching, recognition, and performance evaluations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years of facilities maintenance experience and at least 1 year in facilities management.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and colleagues, resolving conflicts in a diplomatic manner.
Working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Carpentry trades is essential; trade certification is preferred.Flexibility to work varied shifts based on business needs.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and similar software applications.
Ability to present information clearly, write reports, and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, and the public.
Demonstrated capability to read and interpret building plans and blueprints.Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
