Position Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care while overseeing unit operations. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC evaluates nursing practices in line with established protocols. This role serves as a key resource for nursing staff and enhances the overall patient experience.

Unit Description

Our Cardiac Telemetry unit specializes in monitoring patients with acute cardiac conditions. Nurses in this unit are trained to interpret ECGs, identify arrhythmias, and respond effectively in emergencies. They possess advanced critical thinking skills and extensive clinical knowledge, ensuring calm and effective patient care during high-pressure situations. Our unit caters to patients recovering from various cardiac procedures, including open-heart surgeries and catheterizations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored, high-quality patient care.
  • Facilitating admission and discharge processes.
  • Working with leadership to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.
  • Providing mentorship and training to nursing staff.
  • Assisting with staff scheduling and operational tasks.

Qualifications Required:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Valid Registered Nurse license.
  • Diploma in Nursing.
