Role Overview
We are in search of a dedicated Cardiac Recovery Registered Nurse to join our team, ensuring that we maintain our commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient patient care.
Job Summary and Qualifications
Our Registered Nurses elevate the standard by providing clinical expertise and compassionate care. In our dynamic AMB Prep and Recovery department, RNs are responsible for caring for patients post-procedure in our EP/Cath Lab.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments of post-operative patients and monitor vital signs and consciousness levels during recovery from anesthesia.
- Proactively address and manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms, as well as any side effects of anesthesia.
- Perform post-operative tasks such as dressing changes and medication administration.
- Provide age-appropriate education and emotional support, integrating patient and family teaching into nursing practice.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in the state of Missouri.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Previous medical-surgical experience is preferred.
