Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Rehabilitation, you will provide exceptional care to both inpatient and outpatient cardiac patients. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including Exercise Physiologists and Physicians, you will play a crucial role in patient recovery.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments to evaluate patient health status.
- Develop, implement, and assess patient care plans to enhance outcomes.
- Deliver direct nursing care while supervising non-licensed staff in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide education and emotional support tailored to the patient's age, culture, and condition.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Experience in critical care nursing, with a preference for those with a background in Cardiac Rehabilitation.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- BLS certification and preferred certifications in exercise physiology or cardiac rehabilitation.
