The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care while overseeing unit operations. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC will monitor nursing practices in alignment with established protocols and serve as a resource for nursing staff, ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Unit Overview:
Our Cardiac Telemetry unit specializes in monitoring patients with acute cardiac conditions. Nurses in this unit are skilled in assessing heart rhythms, interpreting ECGs, and responding to emergencies. They possess advanced critical thinking abilities and extensive clinical knowledge, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations. Our unit cares for patients recovering from various cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide tailored, high-quality patient care.
- Facilitate admission and discharge processes effectively.
- Work with leadership to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.
- Provide mentorship and training to nursing staff to foster professional growth.
- Assist in staff scheduling and resource allocation.
Qualifications Required:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Diploma in Nursing.
